The chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Tukur Buratai, has said that Nigeria is more secure now than it was five years prior.
He offered the comments on Sunday during a sit-out with warriors Wounded in Action (WIA).
They are getting treatment at the 44 Nigerian Army Reference Hospital, Kaduna.
Buratai guaranteed that their endeavors in safeguarding the country will be compensated.
He hailed the soldiers for their enthusiasm, demonstrable skill and penance.
“I am pleased you have had the effect that a portion of our associates and Nigerians are protected and I am similarly upbeat that we are living in harmony and Nigeria is Safer now than we had five years back,” he said.
Buratai included that the injured troopers will get sufficient clinical consideration.
The Army Chief said recreational offices and different needs would be given.
“We will keep on sending our officials to perceive how we can get you restored through abilities securing program with the goal that when you recover, you can return to the field.
“We should build up these offices here. Those hardwares we don’t have we will get, so you don’t have to get medical procedure somewhere else. This is one of the emergency clinics we have updated,” he included.
He said the office in Yaba has likewise been overhauled, while development of Nigerian Army Reference Hospital in Maiduguri and Abakiliki are continuous.
