Following the event that occurred in the house of representative that saw the Acting chairman of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), Kemebradikumo Pondei slump during investigative hearing, the speaker of the house of representative, Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila, has declared that the Mr Pondei will show before the house no more.
This was revealed after the house was back in session as the investigative hearing was suspended due to the incidence that happened prior before that.
Gbajabiamila while reacting to inquiries after the NDDC manager crumbled and hurried out for clinical consideration said that there would be no requirement for the managing director of NDDC to show up any longer since he has presented a written statement.
The speaker in his own words said “I wish Mr. Pondei safe and speedy recovery and I have also sent the Medical Director of the National Assembly to follow up to ascertain the condition of the MD. Thank you very much and I, therefore, hand over to the current chairman of the Committee, Mr. Thomas Ereyitomi to continue with the hearing”.
