Resident Doctors Postpones Nationwide Strike

The National Association of Resident Doctors, NARD, has reported the suspension of its uncertain strike activity.

The strike was suspended after an understanding it came to with the Federal Government.

Review that resident doctors embarked on a nationwide strike following the supposed inability to agree with the administration and the non-installment of their recompenses.

The Minister of Labor and Employment, Dr Chris Ngige, Minister of Health, Dr Osagie Ehanire had on Friday met with President Muhammadu Buhari over the across the nation strike by the specialists.

Dr. Ngige told the State House journalists on Friday that all the requests of the specialists had been met by the administration while endeavors are continuous to persuade State Governments to do likewise.
