A gun fight between combined group of vigilante and Police against notorious armed robbers at Gurbi town in Kankara LGA on Thursday has come about to the death of 21 people.

The group succeeded and executed seventeen (17) suspected criminals and recouped eighty dairy animals (80), one hundred and eight sheep and a donkey from the gangsters earlier trucked away from the town and other neighboring towns. During the assault, crooks murdered one Alh. Sanusi, m, of Yar-Bakaje, (2) Akilu Isuhu, m, Bawa Gidan Mai Ruwa (3) Nana Husaini, f, matured 25yrs of Unguwar Farin Dutse, Gurbi town and (4) Muntari Sama’ila, m, aged 30yrs of Gidan Korau town all of Kankara LGA of Katsina state while three different people were indicated wounded.
